Alright, I am to Art what Einstein was to SCHOOL math.
Anyway, as for monsters, as another monster, we could have a "Yellow Snatch" or some such. Hard to hit, but dies with one stroke.

And of course, it would have to be initiated in the afternoon. With midnight being when the hunt starts.

I can always suggest my Deep Swamp Frog, but it has no basis in any story but my own...
Basically, it's a lower form of a lizardman (although obviously he's a reptile), with no weapons or armor nor the intelligence to weild them, but it stands upright with a barbed tail and chomping teeth. But when you defeat it, you'll turn around and be all victorious, and it'll change into what I always coin as "stumpy," halfway between frog and lizardman, short and bouncy and likes to bop you with its head. When you beat that, it reverts to a frog, but STILL hasn't been beaten. Now it has a poisonous barbed tongue and hops around quickly but if you hit it it dies pretty much on the spot.
On a more serious note, how about a succubus?

This isn't QFG4, so there is no Rusalka.

the cool thing is that you could get as much hair as you like from her, as a paladin...
Though she never seems to run out :'(
