If we were to have hero7 in a forest area, what monsters should our hero encounter during the day/night?

As mentioned in a different thread, rouge gargoyles could come out at night.

Aren't gargoyles more likely to be found in buildings, or at least near it?

Just at the top of my head, giant snakes and spiders perhaps?

How about raiding Goblin groups? Not like the ones in QfG1, these guys would be armored and fully trained, and a reasonably tough opponent, equal in caliber to like one of the Brigands of QfG1.

I love the idea!

People will probably encounter them thinking that they are wee little goblins and get the shock of their life!   cheesy

You could have 'demons' in the form of animals and creepy things. They're somewhat humanoid but will revert to their true form when killed. Examples include White Bone Spirit, Fox demon, Spider Demon, Centipide Demon, Elephant demon, Lion Demon, Tiger Demon, Pig Demon, etc...

If you want to be silly, you could always have 'demons' in the form of fruits and musical instruments... I've seen Chinese mythology drama shows having Pineapple Demons and Pipah Demons (Pipah is the name of an oriental instrument).

I love it!

If the combat is set up in a manor that give an advantage to the groups, the Goblin Raiders would be great.

That would be a great Easter Egg to have in the game: have the occasional demon turn into a pineapple. LOL.

Yeah, the difference would be that the Goblin Raiders would have full Goblin Armor. (Having the same style as the LotR Uruk-Hai would be awesome.)

Fresh Pineapple! And if we really want to be funny, we should give the Hero the option to pick up that Pineapple corpse and eat it.

Waffle Walkers weren't evil, they just tryed to butter you up with their syrupy sweetness. I'm always ready to munch on a jawful of an awful waffle walker.  Tongue
