Depends on which genie you get. If it's the genie from the first post, you get four wishes. If it's the Scottish genie that OC got, it's three, but be very careful when you make your wish. He's some trickster.

Its seems if you pour a diffrent liquid into the lamp you get a diffrent genie, give it try and see what happens.

[Jafar]

Hmm... Let me try. *Pours some soda into the lamp*
*A big, fat genie comes out!*
Genie: Ahh, free at last. Now you spend the next 1001 years in that bottle!
Jafar:Hold on.
Genie:What?
Jafar:How did you fit in the bottle? I doubt a little thing like that could hold all that blubber.
Genie:Like this. *The genie turns into smoke and reenters the lamp*
*Jafar stuffs a cork into the lamp*
Genie:Help!
Jafar: Heh heh, works every time.  I still didn't get any wishes though.  

[Ignus_Draconus]

Ignus takes the bottle from Jafar, uncorks it and pours in a dragon's breath. a scarlet demon spouts from the bottle. the deamon rises meanacingly and booms, "what do you.." the voice drops, "oh, it's you again. Haven't you tormented me enough? I thought it would have been enough for you to foil my evil plot a few years back. Can't you just leave me alone?"

"um, why are you in a bottle?"

The demon looks down at the bottle beneath him "What? where did this come from? I thought I was - well never you mind."

Ignus waits a moment then broke the demon's stubborn silence. "well, if you go back into the bottle, I think I can send you back to wherever you were"

"You sure?" The demons voice fades  at Ignus's look. "Okay then, mage, send me back."

The demon oozes back into the bottle as Ignus takes Jafar's half-empty soda can. as soon as the demon is fully into the bottle, Ignus poures the rest of the soda into the bottle and corked it. He hands it to Jafar.

[Outchanter]

wow, it is magic! That lamp just turned into a bottle!

[pyro]

Your right it is a bottle now, I think that blue hole I mean plot hole has leaked into the lamp, never mind this dispell potion should fix it.

*pours dispell into bottle* there's a flash of colors and a puff of smoke, the lamp is back. There's something wrong the smoke hasn't stopped, infact it increasing. Before anyone could say razzle dazzle root beer the room is filled with a whole lot of genies and some chickens.

say some of those genies look very familiar, lets see that pink one over there looks like a kirby, that one over there looks like a dragon, the one by the table looks like a scottish chanter. That one with the overly large staff wearing armour which says smash with a picture of a staff hitting a head just looks rediculous.

*walks up the the genie thats on fire*
Pyro: man that looks hot you should see a doctor about that

Genie-pyro: tell me about it I sure wish you didn't do that.

Pyro: do what?

Genie-pyro: dispelling a plot hole can only end up in a lot of trouble especially the blue ones. Apparantly you've unleeshed all the previous genies of this lamp.

Pyro: What happens now?

Genie-pyro: I don't know im waiting for one of them to make a move.

[Jafar]

Er... Hmm... Maybe I can get a wish from one of them. Which one though?
Genie meanie miny moe....

[pyro]

It looks like they might be getting ready to fight for there freedom the looser stays in the bottle/lamp.

[Jafar]

I'm sure you all know what this means...
*Pulls some popcorn out of Nowhere*

I thought the correct response was to duck behind a protective barrier and hope they don't notice you...

The genies huddle in a group and talk for a while before one announces:

We need people of non genie abilities to assist us in this battle, for you see we cannot use our powers without a wish being made. We need a person to represent each one of us. Making wises to counteract the wishes of others.

[Ignus_Draconus]

oh boy, this could get  nasty...

[Outchanter]

*raises hand* oooh, ooh! I'll make a wish!

*the genies look on expectantly*

A million dollars?

*:angry: not a wish for yourself, you stupid, selfish, puny mortal!*

Uh oh...

[pyro]

*Pyro walks up to `fire-genie'* I wish all the other genies could no longer grant wishes

`fire-genie' are you kidding do you know how much more of a mess we'd end up in if I granted that wish, I don't even know if it's possible.

oh alright *writes a note and hands it to the genie, the genie reads the note* that wish is for later, but now I wish I didn't pour the dispell potion into the lamp.

fire genie, uh ah not granting that if i've got a shot at freedom.

O.k. I wish lightening would strike every one here except me and you.

Granted. *thunder roars, and lightening strikes everyone else* LOL that looks really soar.
