Why didn't you use polymorph on Kadis, so that poor ol' Jafar didn't get a dagger in the gut that was POISONED, too.

Usually, if a sheep gets attacked, he returns to his original form, but if the head gets chopped off as a sheep, then yeah, he's dead.
