They're still living organisms.

Btw, there's a chicken that managed to live for a month without a head (in the Guinness Book of Records), and cockroaches can live for a month without heads too.

That reminds me, Once, I was watching the Guinness Book of Records show, and I saw a man with the worlds longest fingernails. It was DISGUSTING! They were all curled up in a spiral...*shudders* sick
