It seems that the domain name for Silver Sphinx Studios expired a few days ago. Darn, I was hoping to show my friend the old april fools game you guys had there.

Any chance the domain will be renewed? Or are you guys pretty much done with Hero of the Infamous Kingdoms? huh

Yeah, it's a pity that the domain expired. It doesn't look like anyone's gonna renew it.

You can see one of the mirror sites here. http://sss.hero6.com/

You can download the game from there too. The only downside is that the forums are gone.

To be honest, after the joke was over, so was the site.

Yeah, I guess you're right.

I was just holding out to see if you guys were planning a sequal. Tongue

We could still do a sequel in the near future. That hasn't been ruled out yet. It's just not possible right now as the project teams are all very busy with their original projects.

I know, but the SSS site was how I found out about the Hero6 and Quest for Infamy projects for the first time. So, I guess seeing it expire is like the end of era for me. XD

Wait you mean Hero6 signals the end of an era rather than the rebirth of one? Wouldn't a finished Hero6 serve as inspiration to others to keep making new fangames?

No, it's the end of the "Waiting with bated breath for Hero6 to finish" era.

Well it already has. Sadly that seems to be all Hero6 is in its long production life.
