Greetings Kelso, floss is a term for a piece of string used for cleaning in between one's teeth. Here is a more thorough definition taken from Wikipedia:

Dental floss is thin nylon filaments or a ePTFE or UHMWPE substrate used to remove food and plaque from teeth. The floss is inserted between the teeth and scraped along the teeth sides, especially close to the gums. Dental floss comes both waxed and unwaxed.

It's something some people are very sincere about doing... and others don't bother.

Dentists always, ALWAYS tell you to floss, unless they have a child's school fees to pay and need to ensure you're a returning customer to help offset the cost.

I'm going to HAVE to register. I feel humiliated by that little "unregistered" label... <grins ruefully>
