I really really hope they don't rape Fallout 3.

They will probably vape the Bird's Eye perspective on Fallout 3. My guess is that it'll become a lot like Morrowind, except with a greater emphasis on Ranged Combat. And there'll be guns.

Well the official release date on the Oblivion site it Holidays 2005... so it will be soon.
Personally I have always liked Knight with healing magic and some offensive magic. I modified the Knight in Morrowind to have more offensive and healing magic.
I am pretty excited though. Probably a 128mb video card will be minimum so I might be upgrading... (When I got my current 128 mb video card I loved Morrowind so much more cause of the delay being gone)
Looks awesome though.

Well, I'm hoping I'll win an XBOX 360 or something, becuase otherwise I probably won't be playing Oblivion for a while.

Never liked morrowind - probbaly won't like oblivion. For me it's just a very big, very complex and very pretty tamagochi game. Building up stats etc. Besides I don't like when every people I ask about for example boat answers EXACLY the same But hey it's just my oppinion

I like the big world, but that's a matter of personal preferance. I also found the ununiqueness of alot of th NPC's iritating so I stopped talking to people on the streets. There are mods that improve the dialogue though. It looks like they are taking some of the mod communities improvements to the game into consideration when they design Oblivion, so hopefully they will work with this criticism of Morrowind.

Quote progect leader dude for Oblivion and Fallout 3: "Fallout 3 will NOT be Morrowind with weapons." But I never trust people. If they DO rape Fallout 3, however, I'll never forgive them.

Well, that was Morrowind. Radiant AI is gonna change a lot. Also, every line of dialogue is voice-acted, and I doubt that they'll just have the same lines over and over.

I hope not. That'll get very iritating. hummm.... I wonder how the moders will add dialogue. Use their own voices? that could get messy.

Probably won't for most of them, they'll just have to rely on the text. Maybe there'll be a voice synthesizer.

That's gonna be a lot of hard drive space. Call of Duty 2 is what.. 4 or 5 CD's? And the content isn't even that great, nor does it show any reason for taking up so much room... But I wouldn't be surprised if Oblivion matched or surpassed that.

If they do as well a job with voice acting as JoWood did with Gothic and as Bioware did in KotOR, I'll be satisfied.
