Fancied that he'd write a little ditty
'Bout one whose buttons he pushed. But then he
Was surprised by many strong, bright flashes.
He's now just a pile of soot and ashes
For he suffered one Death Ray too many!

Thriftee Sam was renown to be cunning
Instead was careless, and so was done in
Had found a chest thought to be full of wealth
With no thoughts regarding his health
Picked a lock assumed rather easy
A sharp prick next, then feeling queasy
With more care he may have survived perhaps
That's what happens when you don't check for traps
