Stop the madness!!!
Clarification: Editing of "Chatroom!" thread

I just wanted to clarify why the adminship decided to edit a section the famous "Chatroom!" thread in the OT forum.
To summarize, there was a brief clash in the community because of a simple misunderstanding. We, however, saw the situation as having a lot of potential for going increasingly south and figured it was not worth it to risk the friendly atmosphere of the forum over a trifle.
It's one of those annoying situations where everybody really knows the issue is minuscule yet touching it will leave your finger stinking to high hell for ages... you know what? Best thing to do is to get rid of it. No important information was contained in those 5 or 6 posts that were edited and I'm sure we can all agree to put it behind us.
Also, let me clarify that all measures taken of this nature are very thoroughly discussed by all mods so as to make sure we take the best possible decisions for the community.
So, dudes and dudettes, in the words of the sage Officer Barbrady, "Move along, move along. There's nothing to see here".
If anyone feels that they need more clarification on what happened or wants to discuss the decision we admins have taken, I urge you to contact me thru MSN at ianfe AT hotmail.com
If you need to email me, do not use that hotmail account, as pretty much everything winds up in the junk mail. Ask me on MSN what email addy to use or email Swift who should know.

Silver, don't sweat it. Bad jokes happen alla time.
And: There, I edited my profile. Now I have MSN listed. Besides, why do you need it to be on my profile? I just gave it to you on the OP above.

It's cool. No hard feelings, eh?

Hard feelings? What do you know about hard feelings? Ever killed somebody? Ever had a man die in your arms?
Er, sorry, Seinfeld refrence.

George: This whole experience has changed me. It's made me more bitter, more cynical!
Jerry: Really?
George: Sure, why not?
Fits in with the situation...

Someone dropped an antique sewing machine in the road, and Kramer was putting paint thinner down on the black lines he'd put on the road to make it a 2-lane instead of a 4-lane. The sewing machine got lodged under Newman's truck and sparked across the paint thinner, igniting it.
Cuz I'm boring =P

If no one is going to discuss this tpoic anymore (which I think is good... let bygones be bygones), then I'll be closing this thread in a couple of days. No use in keeping a dead topic dragging on.

Reish, if you want to find ways to increase your postcount, might I suggest that you help post the RPS transcripts then?
