Don't everyone hate me

Now don't anybody freak out.  

I've been playing QFG since the first one was released under the title Hero's Quest back in the day.  I love the games, I'm as much a fan as anyone.  I recently had to reformat my harddrive because I was ignorant to the spyware plague which had been infecting it for years.

Now at a forum I frequent the topic came up about classic old school PC games from early 90's and earlier, and I of course mentioned QFG, and how popular it is and was and how it became an anthology, then I remembered Quest For Glory 4 1/2, and I lost it when I reformatted my harddrive.  

I went to the original site, which will not load for me, I can find no links to the game anywhere.  I have seen several QFG fan forums (old posts, from years ago) where whenever someone mentioned this game they recieved a backlash from fans claiming the game was hateful and that no one should post any links.

I don't want to cause a stir, I honestly love the QFG series, and I honestly had fun playing the QFG 4.5 game.  I never beat it, I think the farthest I ever got was looking around the world and seeing what it was like (I was playing through the series at that time and guess I forgot I had it on my comp) and I would very much like to have it again, if only for archiving or to actually play through the game and see all its facets.

So if someone knows a link, or would be willing to send it to me, I would be very much grateful.  If not, thats cool, I'll keep looking and maybe someday I'll find it again.

When google fails, yahoo succeeds.  Frankly, I find QFG fan sites blacklisting of the game silly.

Now we wait and see how long my post stays up unedited.

I dunno how you found it, none of my searches were turning up anything but other people complaining about the game or asking for it.  But thank you SO much!  I truly am grateful for the help.

With respect, there is a reason why it's often blacklisted. Porno, no? However, some of the jokes are kind of funny.

The game was made to be funny by fans of the game, a lot of hard work and effort went into it.  I for one love porn, and don't understand how anyone in todays time cannot.  But I enjoy this game because they really did put a lot of SUBTLE humour into it, as well as the blatant in your face stuff, but it was still cleverly done.

I'm well past being a legal adult in ALL countries, I made a conscious decision to play a game knowing there is adult humour and topics in it.  So no harm no foul right?

As for kids playing it, well thats what disclaimers are for.
