It's from an adventure game from the mid-90's that was recently re-released.
The bolded area is probably the most important clue.

@ Ignus_Draconus: Yeah, it did go off topic pretty fast. Though, my favorite part was "Threaten programmers with death." Cheesy

Did you know if you actually type in various vulgarities in QFG1 and 2, you get some rather amusing responses?

I have got to try that out. Thanks!

Try it in QFG1... You'll get responses like 'Do you kiss your mother with that mouth?' and 'Doesn't sound very hero-like to me'.

Anyways...

TEXT PARSERS ROCK... I am so ashamed that you would all not think so... If only someone had made a SCI version of qfg 3 and 4... it would be perf-- Wait, that's what I'll do.

I have some thinking to do.

laugh lol! And this is what tempts me to go back to my text parser games and mess with them. And you've gotta love threatening the programmers with death. Tongue

Well, let's see... Programmers = either monkeys or slaves chained to computerdesks, forced to write in a language nobody understands for the pleasure of the Boss, project leader, company owner, whatever. Threatening them with death would be like holding a lollipop just out of reach of a hungry child.

And... I scorn you, sir. The VGA remake is laughable at best, and barely compares to our purplepants crusader! (I mean, GREEN pants? Who wears that...? Honestly. No fashion sense at all.)

I don't really care too much what color pants are, as long as they're not ugly and\or seizure inducing.

Like constantly changing color from bright red to bright blue in a matter that could be dangerous and may cause epilepsia? Who'd wear that?...apart from that one guy...

I sometimes where pants that occasionally send out razor-edged knives at various people. Except me.
