As many of you know I've become disenchanted with my own creation. So much so that I don't really feel like continueing it. But apparantly I've been getting a very different feeling about the MRPS than the players and lurkers have. So what do you reckon? Should she stay or should she go?

I think you shouldn't give up yet. We've only had two sessions, and there's a good chance that things will get better. I'll try to be around for this week's session to lend my support. clover

And the only problem with the second session was the lack of Lord Corsair, Master of Dark.

For people who voted a 'yes' but didn't post, please do. Jigen needs to know how many of those who voted 'yes' do intend to turn up. If the turnout is poor (especially for this week's session), he'll most likely give up on it. If you voted yes but have no intention of turning up at all, please state so. He needs to know.

I rather enjoyed them, the second one may have been a little rocky do to a setting and character mismatch, but the first was solid and a lot more than I've had in any of the RP sessions.  I suppose I could make easier and make up another character such as clumsy/graceful super martial artist, like almost every character Jackie Chan has ever played. My knowledge of melee is far greater than the rather little I know about personal firearms.  Or I could simply upgrade Nurlge to a cyber-|\/|33p with cybernetic weapons and crap (unless that's a bit too futuristic).

Anyway, I'd really like to see it continued, but if you don't want to do it then... well, there's not much I can do Sad

I don't think you should give up. There's still hope. I'll try to show up this week.

I think we should still give this a shot. I mean, come on, how often do you see anyone trying to mesh technology and magic. most fantasy books with a modern/future setting either downplay the technology aspect the knight of the word, terry brooks, the Harry Potter series by JK Rowling), completely remove most major technology (Shannara series, terry brooks, the Death Gate Cycle), or downplay the magic (Artemis Fowl, Eoin Colfer).

I think it'd be cool to finally mix the two

You don't often hear of a story consisting of a cynical Spec-Ops Trooper, an Engineer with hi-tech as well as minor magic, and a hippy cat thing. And a hacker. I say we keep going.

serow_#R was just trying to be helpful, Corsair. No need to bite his head off.

serow_#R, we generally don't post in topics that haven't been updated for some time (as in months, or years), unless the information is very useful.
