I believe that the errors are occuring because Hero6 is being currently being moved from hero6.com to hero6.com

Either way, though it might be disrupting the 'look and feel' of the site, we are still able to access the forums (and that's what counts  Wink )

Why would Hero6 be moving from hero6.com to hero6.com? Yes I know that's where the forums are, but I don't understand why they are moving in general.

No good reason.  In fact, we might stay at the hero6.com domain.

Currently we have 2 hosting providers.  The one on .com moved their mySQL database to another server, and the xoops site needed adjustments.  The one on .net is actually going through brassfire's hosting service and so she has access to it.   That's kinda why we have a split right now.  Since brassfire has access and the time to do some visitor site setup, she went ahead and created a .net site.   Now all that is left is for me to finish my stuff and move to .net... but once that happens, we may tranfer the domains back to .com.  So currently half the stuff is on .net and the other half on .com

I was out of town on a business trip for the whole week when the SQL errors on .com occured... I didn't have time to get to it until I returned on Sunday.

Just FYI
