Nevermind that, I poked with the inevitable Mathematica out of curiousity, looks like the solution could be 1, or 2, or any infinite number of solutions, not necessarily infinity or 1 exclusively.

Inifinity divided by Infinity IS one. Wouldn't infinity/infinity only be a finite number if you're talking about 2 infinite sets with one-to-one correspondence? Since infinity - 1 is infinity, and infinity * infinity is still infinity, then with infinity being a boundless number, infinity/infinity should only equal 1 if there's an end to the sequence, otherwise, it should still equal infinity.

But if anything, we could get you access to the hero6.com member site and fix it up (if you're interested). It's in PHP. Sure, I'd love to help out

I listened to all four songs, I like them. Particularly, "Hold On," it's vivid. The only criticism I could offer is that the intro to "Broken" is _extremely_ Coldplay-esque to the point where I'd swear I was listening to them (which could also be considered a hats off to your musicianship).
I really enjoyed all four songs though, I'm not terribly into Radiohead anymore, but I still listen to a good amount of Coldplay and U2 which you easily fit into that category. Your voice is very clear, and you seem to have a pretty solid grasp on your range.
Out of curiousity, what kind of recording equipment did you use? I'm a guitarist myself, and I like to pretend that I can record with my crummy Boss 16-track

Out of curiosity, what programming languages do you know? A handful. About 2 years ago I started up with PHP so I could maintain a handmade blog and keep my hands dirty with coding, but I've done extensive C/C++, Java, VB, C#, a good bit of Python. A few months ago I started messing around with Lua because I got into the World of Warcraft thing, and lately I've been messing some more with Unrealscript just for kicks. I'm 21 now, and I started coding when I was about 10 so there's tons I've picked up over the years, then dropped.

I'm a programmer that's totally interested in joining up with the team. Is it necessary to show off some of my work on the forums to up my chances? Code is a whole other entity from art so I figured it wouldn't make much sense pinning it in the application.

The Hero6 Project / Game Development Discussion / 2D VS 3D

3D is great, but 2D adds so much more mystery to adventure games. Small quirk, yes, but I love that feeling of not being able to look behind the corner, or pan the camera just right to see what's in that back room.
