"Gee Brain, what are we going to do tonight?"
"The same thing we do every night Pinky. Try to take over the world!"

They're Pinky and the Brain
Yes Pinky and the Brain
One is a genius
The other's insane!

They're laboratory mice
Their genes have been spliced
They're dinky,
They're Pinky and the Brain Brain Brain Brain Brain Brain Brain Brain Brain...

Before each night is gone
Their plan will be unfurled
By the dawning of the sun
They'll take over the world

They're Pinky and the Brain
Yes Pinky and the Brain
Their twilight compaign
Is easy to explain!

To prove their mousy worth
They'll overthrow the Earth

They're dinky
They're Pinky and the Brain Brain Brain Brain Brain Brain Brain Brain

NARF!!!

A walking stick of bamboo called a "nichek."

... Another one of my monsters with no foundation outside of my own story.  I have a doodle of it somewhere, and it's not as stupid as that brief description sounds lol.

How about a group of pots and pans animated by a Wizard's magic?

I still say that they should somehow incorporate this into the HotIK sequel... that is if they're crazy enough to start developing it....

But, ya' know, one project at a time, I guess. Cheeky wink

Let's make Corsair the damsel in distress. Then when the hero rescues "her" he threatens the player that he'll quit his job.

No? Ok.

Actually, this could be set up as an easter-egg quest. You have to save a damsel in distress and you find out, eventually, that it's actually a guy, and his last name is Damsel.

The unfortunate fact of it is that people would think you were stealing from Monty Python =(

WHAT???

Oh, dammit...

I think this is the third time I accidentally rip off something without knowing it.

1. Metallica's song The Thing That Should Not Be. I made it into a story. Then someone told me that the song was inspired by an HP Lovercraft story, written in a similar manner (I used transcripts of audio recordings and such...)

2. I wanted to write a story in which the Mice were actually leading the earth from the shadow. A guy tells me that in the Hitchhiker book (which I haven't read) the mice are responsable for creating the world.

3. After I wrote a few chapters of my story, The Panacriph, a guy told me that in a game for Nintendo, called Golden Sun, it's basically the same thing: guy walks into tower, screws things up, elements, blah blah...

No, I had no idea about either.

I've done it a couple times too.  One of my first stories (luckily I never actually wrote it down, cuz then I'd have to tear it up), "Swords to Shields," was nearly identical to the Lord of the Rings trilogy, which I had not read/watched at the time (I've now done both).  Then at the same time, the RPG I was making out of the story in my head, lol, had a system eerily reminiscent of Diablo.  I had played it, but I made the system without even realizing that's what I was doing.  Now I'm so obsessed with being precise I have over 60 individual stats, and skill levels for everything with intertwined averages and crap like that, so complicated and perfectionistic that you can no longer play it on pen and paper lol.
