Yeah, I bet you do. That's something I would do. Which is why I hate it so much.

No, I just hate having my own tricks turned against me. But that's part of it, too, I suppose.

The Silver Lining Team is only releasing the first chapter of a game, not the full game. If Hero6 had chosen to release only chapter 1, it would have been released years ago.

Actually... it's the first 3 chapters(which comprise Part 1: Shadows). Yeah, I'm nitpicking(and late), but I felt the need to say it. Tongue

Well, I like the idea, PHattiE, but we really need to plan this carefully, or we'll wind up having a similar situation to what Bioware's having with their contest at the moment, where people were confused by the vague rules and the rules continued to shift around even after the contest deadline.

Which reminds me... when DOES the voting end for it(the Bioware contest)? I've been planning to vote... but haven't quite got around to it yet. Cheeky wink

and I'd actually join in the(Adventure game) contest... but I don't have the time. :-\

As a final note(to stay on-topic)... considering the amount of time it has taken for many retail games to be created(where the staff works full time, I might add), I fail to see any reason to complain about however long this game takes to make. Wink

The voting for the Bioware Contest ends sometime near the end of March. Please vote asap. Thanks.

I am patiently waiting.  But, I have to say this...I highly respect and admire the people who are taking the time to do this project...it is entirely volunteer and just knowing that somebody is working on a sequel is so encouraging.  We might not have anything...at least right now we have something to look forward to.  I really am happy about that!!!!   Btw, if you need any script writing, editing or voice acting...let me know...that is sadly all I am really qualified to do....but I would be more than happy to help!!!!

Thank you so much to all of the people working on this project... I am sure that you are as anxious as all of us to see this project done!!!

Yeah Im new to this forum but I did stop by this site a long long time ago. Maybe 4 years i think. I am not sure how complete the project is or anything and I have no clue if anyone posts here anymore. I do know that when I first played quest for glory 4 as a kid thats what made me decide to be a computer game designer. I remember how much fun the game was for me and I felt so connected to the game that I lived in mordavia for awhile. I have a lot to say and dont know if anyone shows up. Do cori and lori cole know about this? Do they appreciate it. How's come the hero looks younger than he looked in quest for glory 5? I would say he should be maybe mid 20's game wise. Real life wise mid 30's. What type of code is being used? I would love to help out any way I can. I play d&D a lot and am a expert dm and would love to help with storyline and perhaps art? If anyone reads this let me know. Okay I think thats it for now. Have a good day and if anyone reads this please respond.

I still read this forum. Lori and Corey do know about this project. Hero6 is not a sequel to QFG. You start with a different hero, hence the young look. If you want to help out the project, there's the Apply button on the main page.

Do people still come here? They certainly do(or so I assume), but a lack of news and a lack of forum activity make them come here less.

It's sort of not allowed to discuss the game (QFG 4 1/2) in detail since we're trying to keep the forum family friendly and the game itself contains pornography and stuff.

It's not hard to find. Just look for it if you really want to.
