Kailkay sat around, his boyish good looks winning him nothing in the way of affection or interest when regarding the ladies. Bitter at this, he took a swig of his ale, taking a deep, glorious mouthful of the golden brown draught.

~Remember the good old days...?~

-*-*-*-*-*-*-

His bow was nothing but elite. The elven blood within him, his father's Sacred Archer blood infused within Kailkay had been nothing but an aid, but woe-alas... his inherent ability to potently charge his arrows much against his will was nothing but the greatest of blows when dealing with his disqualification. The arrows thudded straight on mark, but his inborn skills were classified as cheating, after much careful debate by the judges.

---------------

The thing of freakish qualities, blistered, pus-oozing skin of purplish qualities, obviously nearing the stages of final decomposition lurched forward a half a step, it's cruel limp leaving loose flaps of skin all over it's rotten body flapping, the bare ribcage and open chest cavity showing long dead, half eaten organs uselessly hanging by a sickening display of stretched connective tissues. The thing groaned in the most devilish of ways, taking a clumbsy swipe at Kailkay, whom keenly stepped back, in purest of horror and shock.

This was no ancient, ruined temple of treasure, oh no.

This was the ancient's tomb!

-*-*-*-*-*-*-

~"Yes, I remember the good old days."~

He gulped back another mouthful of the blissful drink and wiped the froth from his cleanshaven chin and lips on the back of his silken sleeve, quite soiled with repeated actions of this very nature.

He stood up from his stool and looked down into the mug. He saw his reflection, and closed his eyes, turning away. His hood came up over his head, cloak wrapping more tightly, more snuggly, over his frame; Cloak of forest green. Hah, his father's old one.

Quarterstaff in hand, bow over his shoulder and quiver at his hip, with a half a travel ration at his hip, he pushed out of the inn and stretched, looking about the bright daylight of the area.

He'd been drinking and it was hardly past high noon yet.

Time to get adventuring; A clean slate means a fresh start; A fresh start means more adventuring!

...And off down the gravel road he traveled, leaving this town, never having learned it's name; He stayed for a day and was once again upon his way. Where did he head?

Who can really say where the path they walk down leads without actually walking down the path in the first place?

Psst! What does this have to do with the plot of the game? Tongue
"A fresh start means more adventures huh? I'll be there."

Jafar walks down the path, shadowing Kailkay with a prank in mind..

Kailkay finds himself utterly humiliated, and feels no remorse when he retaliates with a series of expertly placed bonkings at Jafar, before realizing whom the little pink puffball is.

He straightens up, scowling, dusting himself off, a nasty glare at Jafar.

"Think you're coming, eh Jaffy?"

He snorts and turns his nose up into the air, stomping off down the gravel road, back to the nuisance of a too-much-loved little pink... round... grr!

Jafar rubs his head and sighs.
"Some people have absolutely no sense of humor. I don't just think I'm coming, I know. One way, or another. <_< "

Kailkay stares at Jafar a moment. In one way or another?

"Hah. Hah hah hah...!" He throws back his head and begins to laugh, rolling his shoulders in a gentle shrug. Oh, how funny.

"No sense of humor? Nah, I just don't find pink humor very funny." He continues to walk off down the road, staff clutched tight in hand.

"You can come, but you'll be the meatshield if you do. I'm not getting beat up for Your sake. Mahahaha..."

His cloak swirls about his ankles as he walks.

(Damnit, what did I JUST say about no spamming? Yeesh. ONE post here a day, jeeeez.)

Kailkay rolls his eyes and continues briskly down the path, hunting for sheer adventure, sheer excitement sheer- WhuTHUD!

Arrows! From the bushes!

"Gah! Duck and cover, Jafar! They'll pop you like so many rubber-skinned balloon-type kirbies!"

Jafar grabs his shield and holds it over his head.
"This is all your fault. You just had to take that shortcut."
Jafar casts Flame Dart on the bushes. The bushes burn away to reveal....

Kailkay makes short work of the 16 bit opponent, using a series of dodge - smack - dodge - smacks.

"My fault? How could it be my fault! I didn't want to take the short cut, but with your tiny little legs, y'know, I can barely hope to get to... well, wherever I really wanna go if you're lagging way behind.

Keep or... Uhm... Kip out???"
