*totters nervously up to the podium*
Well, I'm not much one for giving speeches
but presumably speeching is one of things a hero's just gotta do.
I'd like to thank everyone on these forums for creating - in threads like The Hero6 Plot - the tradition of free and fun spamming which has inspired all of us today. I'd especially like to thank Swift, Jafar and Kailkay especially for providing such wonderful posts for me to reply stupidly to
as well as Pwincess, Ignus, Brassfire, and all the others who alas have not be able to frequent this forum as they did in the past.
I'd also like to thank whoever invented the Internet, computers, microchips, transistors, electricity and so on ... without them, none of this could have happened
Well
I think that's about it. If there's anyone I've forgotten to thank - thank you.

He's not a superhero yet. Unless you were talking to Swift...

Well, at least OC gets another mention in the trivia. Take a look at the trivia to see what I mean.
*brings out the party food*
Dig in, everyone!
I might have discovered the date which Brassfire became a Famous Adventurer. By clicking on the "Show all posts by poster", and by finding the Xth post, where X = total postcounts - Y, and Y = number of posts to reach rank, I can see the date which she made her 2500th post. This should hopefully be correct, since all the posts that are displayed are sorted from the last to the first. I used this method to find out PHattiE's and Lazygamer's hero dates. Unfortunately, I couldn't found out when Brassfire became a Superhero since some of the posts were lost due to server problems. This also means that I can't confirm whether I did find her 2500th post. Still, it's pretty close, since she had 2000 posts in Feb 2003.
Using this method, I managed to find Lazygamer's post where he finally became a hero, so at least it works for some people. I have included Lazygamer's link in the hero speech post. I also managed to find the dates for Delta, Ignus and LB becoming Superheroes.
Take a look at the trivia post to see when BF made her 2500th post and how long it took PHattiE to reach 500 posts.

Thanks. I overlooked the fact that Pwincess was the first to give a superhero speech, so I've updated the trivia again.
Where's the party music?

I think OC should answer that question though... It's his party after all.

Damn this thread is cool, the heroes get honoured!
My belated hero speech.
I'd like to thank Swift for taking the time to find out information on everyone. I'd like to thank the Hero6 team for starting something big(the booming "make your own adventure game" scene, and their own adventure game).
Unfortunatly, for the rest of this speech I'd prefer to flame rather than praise. Curse all the heroes who have made a mockery out of hero status, by making tons of pointless, spam happy posts. Now high post count no longer signifies a veteran member who has had alot to say, it has been degraded to a highscore for trigger happy post count spammers who have a hard to understand sense of humor.
Holy shiznit! I've been representin' since Oct 2001! I wonder if I go back even further than that. Well those of you with good memories may find alot constrast between now and my earlier Hero6 days.
Thank you all and good evening...
