Of course. But do we allow people to change the class of their character when they import?

We had the option of doing that in QFG, so maybe we should allow players that choice

Yes, you could do that in QFG, but was it a good idea? Personally, I think we should make you the class you are, unless you're a Paladin and would prefer to be a Fighter. But that is unlikely that anyone would want to. Still, i've seen some people comment about how annoying it was that in QFG2 if you did some things you had to become a Paladin.

On the topic of Paladin-thieves, in KOTOR II the Jedi equivalent of a Sith Assassin is called a Jedi Watchman. A similar idea could occur with a thief paladin, basically a paladin with funky daggers who relies on cunning and stealth, also with the more concealable daggers this character can be more of a people-person pretending he's not even armed until the monsters charge.

Sounds cool. What other abilities might this Paladin/Thief have, Jigen?

Well, if you're going to talk about combined classes, I have one:

Fighter/Wizard = Enchanter

Basically, a wizard who believes the mind is useless without the body, too (or a fighter who actually had a brain and finds a magic book). They have magic and muscle, but they're not as strong and tough as fighters or as diverse as wizards. They're able to use their magic to enchant their weapons and armor for temporary boosts and elemental abillities (yes, including Pizza Tongue ). Could be used in quest puzzles, too (well, he surrounded by a block of ice. So I'll enchant my sword for fire damage to melt it).

If I ever feel too down or over-inflated, all I have to do is remember one of two things: to the right of me, in some dimension, I am a king; to the left of me, in another dimension, I am a hanged man.
-ME!

Without giving anything away regarding Hero6, can anyone say if the Hero has the ability to become a Paladin throughout Hero6?

My psychic powers tell me I answered this question somewhere else. Like, two days ago.

I asked a similar question, but a concise "yes" or "no" was not given. Instead, an answer of "Not Really" was given, but that is specifically not a "no." Basically, I want to know if a character can begin Hero7 with a character that is a Paladin, or should they be able to "upgrade" during the course of the game.

EDIT:
Sorry, I, like Corsair5, thought you were referring to QG, not Hero6.

Well, if we're going to have an evil paladin/anti-paladin/black guard, we should have a necromancy class too!

How about a peasant class.  He'd have cool peasant-only skills like... farming!  And... flamability.

Blackguards aren't heroes, they're not like Thieves, who are just greedy. THEY WANT TO BLOW UP THE WORLD.

It could be a combination of hero's quest and villan's quest Wink
