If you enjoy stuff blowing up and cool lasers and can not pay attention to the flaws Jafar mentioned, then yeah, it's worth it.  Just remember not to expect anything great when stacked up against the Original Trilogy.

I suppose watching 1 and 2 will only serve to reenforce why 4, 5 and 6 are good.

As stand alone movies, they'd be okay. But I think Lucas isn't putting a lot of mental effort or good acting into it because he's sure people will go see it simply because of Lightsabers and blasters.
