An always beaten arrogant ass.(except if you play the VGA version. He is unbeatable due to high speed).

And lost paladinhood is not like the Dark side. Fallen Paladins are fighters without the Weapon Specialization(how is it spelled anyway? My mind has stuck). They lose all their special abilities(unlike the dark jedi who gain others)

The class you are reffering to is the Anti-Paladin(or perhaps the Blackguard). And to my knowledge they get no flaming sword.

That makes me wonder?

Quest for Infamy could have a quest for an Anti-Paladin. I'll go over to suggest it to them.

You are wrong Corsair my friend. This is the cliche, not the general rule.
And Paladins are not always humble. Pride has been the downfall of many a Paladin.(my favorite class,I have read about it  both in fantasy and in history)

lazygamer, you are right indeed. I had not in mind the QFG games specifically but the Rpgs as whole. I think I need a break to think more clearly.

As to Reishvedaur

Heroes are not a static type of character. In QFG games you seek Glory(thus Quest for Glory) but that's not the general way. Think about humility, a humble fighter and a proud one(in the same party). Would their conversation be the same? Yet they are both Heroic.

Very interesting and quite good indeed. A little more detail and it will be great. I have also shown all but the last book(2) to my linguistics friend and he told me you have some talent and with practice you could go proffesional.
I just tell you this, I'm not suggesting anything

I don't think I understood you. Could you be more specific?
22  The Hero6 Project / Hero6 Discussion / Would you audition... on: July 26, 2005, 08:49:10 PM
I would like to, but my voice is high-pitched and sounds poorly in all the attempts I had at recording it.

And I have been turned down thrice by fan-game designers. The fourth time would be like a final shot.
23  The Hero6 Project / Hero6 Discussion / A question that came over me suddenly on: July 26, 2005, 08:46:31 PM
I think I have read somewhere this question but my memory fails me,so I will make it again.

What races(and/or monsters) are we going to see(both Evil and Good) in the game?
If it is not public knowledge just ignore the post.

It is an interesting idea but that comes with two problems:

1.) In order to make the dialogues look natural, the designer team would take more time to finish the game. Should they rush it, the quality of the dialogues would look poor

2.)To be a character class is not to be a specific character. Fighters could range from idiotic brutes(barbarians) to refined warriors(samurai). It would be extremly hard to implement such a feature to such expectation.

3.)(This one is for the nostalgic group, I don't expect many to agree) It would change the way the game is viewed and this will not be a QFG like the old ones(I don't say it will not be a good game, rather another game)

I'm not DRMATRIX, that incident must have been a jest from my roommate.

Wasn't me. My roommate and I share the same Pc. I was on this post when I left to answer the phone and when I came back the Pc was in another page. Delete his post if you please. He does it all the time.
27  The Hero6 Project / Hero6 Discussion / Non-latin text for Hero6 on: July 25, 2005, 03:41:33 PM
I am a Greek fan of Qfg and a long time observer of the forums( even though I just registered-long story here). I don't know If it has been already suggested but I thought of making a language pack for Hero6 in languages other than English(or even Latin based). Asking some of the fans from other countries to take part of the script and translate it in their mother language. I know English is a global language, yet I eagerly yearn to see an Epic game in my language(we are generally a lazy lot and preffer to leave things as they are.) I for example would like to contribute to the attempt by lending my (not very good indeed) translating skills to the attempt.
I am speaking after the release of the game. I'm not asking for any material right now.

What about something original here?

Very old(yet modernised) Greek Language.

(New member in the area)

I am a D&D fan and I was a huge Paladin supporter. When I heard this game featured a Paladin as a character, I persuaded a friend of mine to loan me his disks.I played it as a Fighter because I found no Paladin( and despite my poor English I made it through .  Though I thinked the Paladin becoming to be a visible quest, I managed to become one in QFG3 just a year ago)  . But I fell in love with the game and when the Anthology came out(in Greece I mean) some years back( 4 or 5 years back) I played all of them( and enjoyed them better since my English had improved quite a bit). I think though that the best one is 2.

I'm a new member to the forums and I would like to introduce myself.
I'm a  21 years old Greek fan of the QFG series( I played QFG3 when I was 10,even though I couldn't make a simple English sentence by then..., and I instantly fell in love with it.After four years I had played and completed every QFG game with all the characters-even the Paladin and I found the way to become one in 3 just a year before though...). The only quest game that came under my attention with its release was QFG5(It dissapointed me, I thought it to be an action-adventure game with some Rpg elements). It was about 1999(or 2000 I don't remember exactly) that I accidentaly fell on the Hero6 site(of old).Since then I have silently watched its slow yet interesting and steadfast progress(especially in the music. It's awesome).  To be honest I am not good at holding my patience , but It's for the better that it takes some time. I'm certain that when the game comes it shall bring tears to my eyes( as AGD has managed with KQ1-2). Don't rush it guys and bring it as we all expect to do. You are the one of the defenders of the Adventuring genre of old and of Sierra's classics.

Long Live the Adventures of 90's(even when played in 98+)
Long Live the Quest Series( and most of all Quest for Glory ones)
