The Hero6 Project / Future Hero6 Projects / Easter Eggs for Hero7

Maybe have some references to KQ9 and SQ7, assuming they'd be willing to share. It is, after all, a time-honored tradition among these games, dating back to KQ2. Would be a shame not to have the plugs in there.

Either that, or a trailor release. Maybe. Assuming someone did it in their own spare time. Assuming they had time TO spare. Good luck. I plan to get this as soon as it comes out (if not sooner).

The Hero6 Project / Game Development Discussion / War

See? The light side (usually) wins! Back on topic, maybe you could have it be a 3-way war. That way, all the "main" characters have a side to fight on, while the Paladin is left out to stop the war entirely.

How about having Corrupt Dryads? Basically, it's a special quest. Some dark force is perverting the Dryads of the woods into evil, and now they attack anyone and anything that comes near them. They'd be like the Wraiths in QFG4, monsters that attack only during the day and only in specific areas. If you just kill them, you get a butt ton of money, but fail the quest and get no points. If you find and cure them, though, you get some money, full points, and a special item (weapon, armor, spell, etc...) Thieves would be ablet to steal more money from them after they've been cured (if they're good enough). Fighters can fight them in order to increase various skills quickly (allows people to max out skills somewhat quicker near end-game). Wizards could get magic-restoring herbs from them. And Paladins...would get lots of honor (and maybe some extra item for proving his valor to the quest-maker, like a medallion that protects from all poisons or some such). Yay.

Pwincess is half right. She gets half a cookie. It's a free online game I found. It's pretty cool. Right now it's in beta test, but the story and gameplay show some promise. If you want to check it out, it's at www.thekingofspades.com
