1  The Hero6 Project / Official Hero6 News / Re: New Press Release on: May 06, 2007, 05:57:22 AM
Honestly, I thought it was a rather clever remark, and I *do* have some idea of the inner workings of Hero6.
2  The Hero6 Project / Offtopic Mayhem / Re: Sierra Gamers.com... on: July 30, 2006, 11:47:34 PM
From what I know it's either that your IP is blocked or that your ISP hasn't updated its nameserver and won't recognize sierragamers.com. There might be some other possible causes, but I can't think of them off the top of my head.

5  The Hero6 Project / Offtopic Mayhem / Re: Windows uses pirated software? on: July 17, 2006, 06:43:39 PM
Not too surprising... not a big deal, but good to keep in mind whenever MS wants to make you jump through all kinds of hoops to use their software.

Heh, spelled Mediaeval wrong...

Anyway, I'm not actually sure about the name of the anime (as I don't watch it), it's just what I read it was somewhere.

The original, which I should have explained, is from a Saturday Night Live sketch from about 8 years ago (I think). And yes, that is Jim Carrey in the middle.

Not to let Raito (and will) be the only one to post all the interesting random stuff... I give you... What is Love... in all its forms.
9  The Hero6 Project / Hero6 Discussion / Re: Application Question on: July 02, 2006, 09:41:24 PM
Hey, Darkseed. Due to recent shake-ups in the Hero6 process, programming is on hold at this moment and if you were to join, there wouldn't be much for you to do.  However, in the near future, we will definitely be needing programmers and we will likely have plenty of things to keep that department busy.

If you want to discuss your application further, I highly suggest you talk to Swift, as she is usually very quick to respond.

Actually, I think Lori was pushing for something like a QFG MMO back around the QFG5 was released.  At least, I remember her saying something to that effect on the QFG5.com forums way back when.

Yeah, some people just don't get it, especially if they don't have it. dry
12  The Hero6 Project / Offtopic Mayhem / Re: Can you hear this? on: June 23, 2006, 04:55:32 AM
I can hear them both fine.
On a related note, I can also hear the electronic high-pitch tones from computers and TV sets, so when I pass by a room that has a TV with no sound coming off it and no image on the screen, I can still tell it's on.

I'm actually extremely sensitive to high frequency sound and the same thing can be said about me. I remember once biking past a house and realizing that a TV was on inside even though I couldn't hear anything else. Both files here were loud and clear for me... especially the 2nd one... ow... *rubs ears*

I also noticed this doesn't have a lot to do with youth... I knew lots of kids who couldn't hear the same noises I could.

Maybe that's because I removed it, smart guy.  The PNG size was similar and looked a lot better anyway.

*sigh* Oh, well... I at least like the doodle I made.

No, it's probably that the server on the site is Linux, and thus, I was getting an image that wasn't there, since I was using lowercase extensions in calling it.

Fixed... the filter doesn't seem to like extensions that are in all caps.  Or... it's a linux server and case sensitive.
