Sounds like something from Monkey Island.

I can hear them both fine.
On a related note, I can also hear the electronic high-pitch tones from computers and TV sets, so when I pass by a room that has a TV with no sound coming off it and no image on the screen, I can still tell it's on.

Every second post has a darker background.  I think maybe it should be lighter instead.

The green text (pretty much everywhere it's used) is hard to read.

And I agree, I love the idea of the empty/full mugs.

I like it, but the contrast in some spots could use a little improvement. =)
Also, took me awhile to find how to change the skin.

This is the PC version of the game, too.  The Amiga version was sooooo much better-looking.

I'm in the middle of re-reading "The Great Gatsby" by Francis Scott Key Fitzgerald.  I may try to read "To Kill a Mockingbird" again afterwards.
