The Hero6 Project / Offtopic Mayhem / Re: Sierra Gamers.com...

From what I know it's either that your IP is blocked or that your ISP hasn't updated its nameserver and won't recognize sierragamers.com. There might be some other possible causes, but I can't think of them off the top of my head.

Heh, spelled Mediaeval wrong...
Anyway, I'm not actually sure about the name of the anime (as I don't watch it), it's just what I read it was somewhere.
The original, which I should have explained, is from a Saturday Night Live sketch from about 8 years ago (I think). And yes, that is Jim Carrey in the middle.

As far as I can figure the references are... *spoilers* . . . . . . . 1. Original 2. Star Trek 3. Star Wars 4. Space Jam by Squad City DJ's (heads are of Macho Man Randy Savage) 5. "Technologic" by Daft Punk (heads are supposedly from Azumanga Daioh) 6. 8-bit version 7. "Moscow" Dschinghis Khan (heads are also of Dschinghis Khan members) 8. Super Mario 9. Katamari Damacy 10. "What is Love? (Goth mix)" by The MDP 11. Earthbound 12. ASCII 13. A modified painting from a medivael tapestry 14. A parady of "Take on me" by A-Ha (I would guess) 15. Mario Paint 16. Tamagachi 17. Pocket Picachu thing (Gameboy style music) 18. Tiger Handheld Game (the music comes from a Pikachu Pocket thing, not a Tiger Handheld)

The Hero6 Project / Hero6 Discussion / Re: Application Question

Hey, Darkseed. Due to recent shake-ups in the Hero6 process, programming is on hold at this moment and if you were to join, there wouldn't be much for you to do. However, in the near future, we will definitely be needing programmers and we will likely have plenty of things to keep that department busy.
If you want to discuss your application further, I highly suggest you talk to Swift, as she is usually very quick to respond.

The Hero6 Project / Offtopic Mayhem / Re: Can you hear this?

I can hear them both fine. On a related note, I can also hear the electronic high-pitch tones from computers and TV sets, so when I pass by a room that has a TV with no sound coming off it and no image on the screen, I can still tell it's on.
I'm actually extremely sensitive to high frequency sound and the same thing can be said about me. I remember once biking past a house and realizing that a TV was on inside even though I couldn't hear anything else. Both files here were loud and clear for me... especially the 2nd one... ow... *rubs ears* I also noticed this doesn't have a lot to do with youth... I knew lots of kids who couldn't hear the same noises I could.

Maybe that's because I removed it, smart guy. The PNG size was similar and looked a lot better anyway.
*sigh* Oh, well... I at least like the doodle I made.

No, it's probably that the server on the site is Linux, and thus, I was getting an image that wasn't there, since I was using lowercase extensions in calling it.

Fixed... the filter doesn't seem to like extensions that are in all caps. Or... it's a linux server and case sensitive.
