If you're not using internet explorer, or Netscape navigator (or another browser) to browse the web, all you have to do to get to the chat-room is load up your IRC client software (like MIRC) and go to the Server:

irc.enterthegame.com and join channel #hero6

More detailed way to get on using MIRC:

1)GET/INSTALL MIRC
mirc is the program that i use to get on IRC it is free and easy to use, you can download it at http://www.mirc.com (http://www.mirc.com). It is easy to install, just click on the EXE, select were you want it to go and install.

2)SET-UP AND CONNECTING
When you start mIRC a screen comes up that says you have to pay after 30 days or something like that, don't worry though you don't have to pay anything just click the x button in that box. You will then see a box that says "mIRC options". In this box you set all your preferences but not much is necesary so i'll just tell you what you have to do. Look to the left of the box and you'll see a colum labeled "Catagory". Go to the "Connect" option and fill out your name, Email and nickame (they don't have to be real). Then go to "Identd" option under the Connect heading. Fill in any name you want for your "User Id". Next click on the "Connect" catagory itself and look to the right. Where it says "IRC Servers" there should be 2 white boxes with downward pointing arrows to the right of them, click on the lower box and scroll down untill you see "Random Enterthegame Server" click on this then click "connect to IRC server" . The last step is to then wait for a box that says "mIRC Channels folder" to come up, in the top white box of that type #hero6 then click join.

3) Chat - You're in so chat with us!

To join the Everywhere chatroom

You have a number of options for connecting to the Hero6 Chat Room:

1. Click the 'Chat Room' link at the top of this page to launch the applet (Make sure that you have the latest version of the JRE (Java Run Time Environment) installed on your computer.  If you don't, then simply down load it from Sun Java Website - JRE Download Page (http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/download.jsp) and click the 'Download JRE' link.
 
2. You may join our IRC channel directly via mIRC (http://www.mirc.com).  Download and install mIRC, then enter the following channel: hero6_chat
Server: irc.everywherechat.com

Step by Step:
1. Click on the 'Favourites' icon in mIRC
2. In the text box 'Enter a channel name and join', type 'hero6chat
3. Click join

3. You may join or IRC channel directly via EveryWhereChat (http://www.everywherechat.com/).  Download and install EveryWhereChat, then enter the following channed: hero6_chat

Step by Step:
1. Click 'Chat Options'
2. Click 'Join a room'
3. In the text box type: 'hero6chat'


PASSWORD:  6oreh

The server is still irc.enterthegame.com , right?

I found out why so many idiots were coming into the chatroom. On the top 15 chatrooms on everywherechat right now, with the most people, the lowest was 4. We had over 8. It explains why so many morons were popping in and out.

I'm a bit disappointed in the fact I didn't spot him as a troll sooner, though he did seem to be one of the more patient and creative ones, verying his style of typing.  You usually don't expect them to have any sort of intellegence.

I was also bit annoyed that Mew automatically assummed that I was accusing him of doing this (which I wasn't).

There's no need to change the password weekly.  All of the people accessing the chatroom and making those rude comments were finding the room by searching for everywherechat servers.  Since the password is only available in the hero6 visitor forums, we shouldn't be getting anymore random drop-ins.

However if somebody does 'hack' our VERY  :P  secure password, I'll change it asap  ;)

just  make sure to leave a note for the absenties if you do.

The only bits I read concerned that love relationship between a human and an elf because a friend had insisted that I should read it. I was really lost reading all that, so many names and individual histories of people that I wasn't interested in. That was before I even started reading 'The Lord of the Rings', so you can imagine why that didn't work out well.

You mean Beren and Luthien? That part is pretty cool, especially the battle at Tol-In-Gaurhoth, where Huan and Sauron fight. But the best part is when Carcharoth eats Beren's hand that holds the Silmaril.

Take a look at your argument again please. This is what you basically said in the last few posts.

3. Dragons are flying lizards
Therefore, Dragons are lizards.

This is your reasoning for Ignus being a "lizard".
If that were true, then this will also be true

1. Humans are mammals
2. Gorillas are mammals
3. Humans are Gorillas with small and fine body hairs
Therefore, Humans are Gorillas.  

Actually, a lot of humans ARE gorillas with less hair.

Anyway, it's not true that humans have less hair than gorillas. We actually have more than they do, but because ours is so fine and short, while theirs isn't which makes it look like they have more hairs. I learnt this from a science show. :)

Not true again. Notice that there are no chest or facial hair on gorillas, but humans have those. Also, I think that gorillas don't have hairs growing from their bottoms either, if I'm not mistaken, as I've seen certain apes that were like that.

Peach fuzz isn't that much hair. But Gorillas don't shave or have haircuts. Their hair would tear and stuff, sure, but it'd get a lot longer than most humans.

Well, it's bacause you insisted at first that Ignus is a lizard, and gave a flawed argument to support your statement. I was using a counter-example to prove your argument to be false, and then you decide to attack my argument instead of defending yours by claiming that humans are gorillas but with less hair, both of which are untrue. I tried to get you to see that, but you refuse to admit it, even though at some points of your argument you actually agreed with me without realising it.

Women are mammals.
Men are women with different body parts.
Therefore, men are women.

Technically, it's the other way around. Women are Men because Men is often used as a term for both species. Also, according to a few religions, woman came from man, and, (I don't want to get in a religious debate.) according to Christianity, God made woman out of one of Adam's ribs. Which is why Women have one more rib than men. According to Christianity.

It's based on the same argument that:

cat --> animal
dog --> animal

Therefore a cat --> dog, which is obviously incorrect.

All Dragons are lizards, but not all lizards are dragons. Dragons are like Mega-Lizards.  

If you want another flaming from both Iggy and Brassfire, Corsair, then by all means continue insisting that dragons are lizards.

1. Humans are not decendants of monkeys. If the evolution theory is to be believed (which still isn't proven by the way), humans and monkeys belong to different branches of the evolution tree, therefore, humans are not decendants of monkeys.

Quite right.  I still find it intersting that they teach the evolution 'theory' as a fact in schools, after all the theory was in fact disproved quite a few years ago.

Just asking, what was the proof which disproved the evolution theory?

I remember our physic's teacher in high school explained why the theory was flawed, and used quite a few research papers which supported his argument.

Or you could read 'Origin of the Species' again and look up the section on eyes. Darwin reconsiders his entire position on the subject.

As for H6's anniversary, you'll get to speak to some very important people who worked behind the scenes to make this game. Daemious, Scott, Erasmus and Coco are just some of the team members who will turn up. You'll also get to meet some of the newest team members as well. It's not everyday where you get to speak to the team these days, so make full use of this opportunity to ask them about anything of this game!
