Art Lead Responsibilities - Report directly to the creative director - Manage and lead the art team members - Insure consistent artistic style and quality as defined by the creative director - Lead art team to provide work estimates and provide deliverables as scheduled - Document repeatable processes and manage art resources - Coordinate with department to insure smooth integration with other components - Insure consistency with story elements Art Asset Manager Responsibilities - Report directly to the Lead Art Asset Manager - Manage and protect art assets in a responsible and confidential manner - Maintain and update art asset lists - Assemble art presentations for review - Facilitate flow of presentations to Creative Director for review - Provide art assets for integration as requested - Provide reports on art development progress and missing or remain art tasks Required Skills - Excellent organizational skills - Basic proficiency with image editing software like Photoshop or The Gimp - Able to use the following basic generic tools: move, text, guides, layers, resize, etc. - Attention to detail – able to distinguish image differences on a per pixel level Required Tools - Digital image editing software (legal software required) - Ability to save to Photoshop “.psd” format with image and text layers Management Aid Responsibilities - Aid the Creative Director or other Management Roles in completing management tasks - Streamline and filter team to management communication by acting as a contact point - Manage flow of team reports to Management - Facilitate scheduling of team and management meetings - Help organize management tasks - Understand relevance of communication topics as they pertain to project schedule - Assign priority to emerging issues and communicate critical issues to Management Required Skills - Well organized - Excellent communication skills - Proficient with phone, forum, chat, email, and other forms of Internet communication - Document creation Required Tools - Word editor - Chat Program and Account - Skype Program and Account |
