Title: Silver Sphinx Studios Post by: EvilSandwich on March 29, 2006, 06:23:51 AM It seems that the domain name for Silver Sphinx Studios expired a few days ago. Darn, I was hoping to show my friend the old april fools game you guys had there.
Any chance the domain will be renewed? Or are you guys pretty much done with Hero of the Infamous Kingdoms? Title: Silver Sphinx Studios Post by: Swift on March 29, 2006, 09:34:15 AM Yeah, it's a pity that the domain expired. It doesn't look like anyone's gonna renew it.
You can see one of the mirror sites here. http://sss.hero6.com/ (http://sss.hero6.com/) You can download the game from there too. The only downside is that the forums are gone. Title: Silver Sphinx Studios Post by: Corsair5 on March 29, 2006, 04:15:48 PM To be honest, after the joke was over, so was the site.
Title: Silver Sphinx Studios Post by: EvilSandwich on March 30, 2006, 10:13:21 PM Yeah, I guess you're right.
I was just holding out to see if you guys were planning a sequal. :P Title: Silver Sphinx Studios Post by: Swift on March 30, 2006, 11:52:41 PM We could still do a sequel in the near future. That hasn't been ruled out yet. It's just not possible right now as the project teams are all very busy with their original projects.
Title: Silver Sphinx Studios Post by: EvilSandwich on April 02, 2006, 03:29:12 AM I know, but the SSS site was how I found out about the Hero6 and Quest for Infamy projects for the first time. So, I guess seeing it expire is like the end of era for me. XD
Title: Silver Sphinx Studios Post by: Ignus_Draconus on April 16, 2006, 04:00:24 AM end of an era? if you want one of those, wait until H6 comes out.
Title: Silver Sphinx Studios Post by: lazygamer on April 18, 2006, 04:38:19 AM Wait you mean Hero6 signals the end of an era rather than the rebirth of one? Wouldn't a finished Hero6 serve as inspiration to others to keep making new fangames?
Title: Silver Sphinx Studios Post by: Reish Vedaur on April 18, 2006, 06:45:09 AM No, it's the end of the "Waiting with bated breath for Hero6 to finish" era.

Wouldn't a finished Hero6 serve as inspiration to others to keep making new fangames? Well it already has. Sadly that seems to be all Hero6 is in its long production life. |
