you must really be desperate for a copy if you're openly asking to buy a burned copy of a game over the internet.

It's illegal to request for a burned copy of qfg 5. If you want to obtain a legit copy, check out this link for details.

Wasn't QFG 5 a windows based game?

Title: looking for quest for glory 5
Post by: Ignus_Draconus on July 07, 2005, 01:43:56 AM
still won't run on windows 2000

Title: looking for quest for glory 5
Post by: Striker on July 07, 2005, 01:45:36 AM
Ouch... Windows 2000 = not very good for games.

Title: looking for quest for glory 5
Post by: Kailkay on July 07, 2005, 01:47:40 AM
98 was the best for games, IMO

Title: looking for quest for glory 5
Post by: Ignus_Draconus on July 07, 2005, 01:48:24 AM
let's see what it doesn't run: Badur's Gate, the Mechwarrior II TTT, warcraft II, Quest for Glory, Space Quest...  need I go on?

Windows 2000=not very good for anything I like. 98 was, IMHO, the best for older games. It couldn't run some of the newer ones well.

Title: looking for quest for glory 5
Post by: Kailkay on July 07, 2005, 01:49:56 AM
Hate to say it, but there aren't as many good 'newer' games as there were older ones.

Title: looking for quest for glory 5
Post by: Ignus_Draconus on July 07, 2005, 01:50:22 AM
someone should update the older games

Title: looking for quest for glory 5
Post by: Kailkay on July 07, 2005, 01:51:57 AM
Indeed. They should. Like the remake of Pirates!... I haven't gotten it yet, because I can't find it. But I heard it was amazingly well done.

A friend of mine told me it's EXACTLY like the original, but with better graphics and interface.

I'm thinking of another huge group of people I'm not allowed to mention. If you flipped the q on the verticle you'd suddenly understand; And these guy's have been trying for about 1500 years.

They're actually kind of sad and antiquated. Their power slowly slips away with each passing year.

Title: looking for quest for glory 5

No offense, but in my opinion, it's kind of liberation from the bonds of traditionalism.

Bow down to Lord Corsair, Emperor of a Thousand Realms, King of the World, Ruler of Earth, Master of lies. Your "Poqe" is nothing more than a finger puppet on my hand.

Title: looking for quest for glory 5
Post by: Kailkay on July 07, 2005, 03:48:04 AM
No.. No he's not. He's me. I'm not a fingerpuppet! I'm a real boy!

Title: looking for quest for glory 5
Post by: Corsair5 on July 07, 2005, 03:57:52 AM
What? Oh, dear lord! *Pulls the "Poqe" off his fingers." I'm going to have to wash my hands for a WEEK after that!

I don't know, Liches seem to be all for it.

Title: looking for quest for glory 5
Post by: Jafar on July 09, 2005, 12:53:46 AM
What do leeches know of life? Wait, you said liches? Well, they know even less.

Title: looking for quest for glory 5
Post by: Kailkay on July 09, 2005, 01:49:53 AM
Ever think what'd happen if you could give a lich emotions? I bet it'd be pretty sad that all it's friends were dead and it couldn't die!

And then it would try to destroy it's on phylactery. And make remaining loved ones go insane.

Title: looking for quest for glory 5
Post by: Striker on July 09, 2005, 02:02:47 AM
What the crap are you guys talking about? I'm talking about unlife, not life. Pay attention!

Title: looking for quest for glory 5
Post by: Kailkay on July 09, 2005, 02:04:16 AM
Unlife. Wait. Isn't that hte same as undeath?

Title: looking for quest for glory 5
Post by: Silverbolt on July 09, 2005, 06:32:03 AM
Actually, undeath is when you are dead, but act like you're alive. By anaglogy, unlife means you're...alive, but act like you're...dead...wait...

I'm confused...

Title: looking for quest for glory 5
Post by: Corsair5 on July 09, 2005, 05:23:43 PM
Shouldn't Undead mean you were still alive, and Unlife mean you were dead?

And what happens if a zombie tries to commit suicide? Is it a suicide like normal, or does it get classified differently?

Title: looking for quest for glory 5
Post by: Ignus_Draconus on July 09, 2005, 09:21:10 PM
a zombie trying to redie. great

Title: looking for quest for glory 5
Post by: Kailkay on July 09, 2005, 10:52:32 PM
And to think this all started with some n00b doing illegal stuff. Teehee!

Zombies are thoughtless beasts. I will never EVER agree with any kind of movie that portrays them as having a sort of intelligence. Ever. Because they simply don't.

Title: looking for quest for glory 5
Post by: Corsair5 on July 10, 2005, 04:21:43 AM
Quite right, Kailkay, due to the fact that they don't exist.

But what about Vampires, Liches, and Mummies?

Title: looking for quest for glory 5
Post by: Jafar on July 10, 2005, 06:23:41 AM
Vampires may be the most intelligent horror creatures ever.

That usually depends on how intellegent they were before becoming one.

Have you ever played Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines? Hehe...some of the Vampiresses were sublime...

Huh, actually, I haven't noticed that till now... They really DO all have widow's peaks, don't they!! :o
