Title: Firefox and the forum Post by: Louisiana Night on December 07, 2004, 02:01:15 PM For some reason I haven't been able to login the last few days( I FINALLY decided to use IE ).
Firefox just keeps trying to download the forum. :P It's probably something wrong with my browser, but if you've made any recent changes to the forum, I thought it might be worth mentioning. *continues trying to get the forum to load in Firefox* Title: Firefox and the forum Post by: Swift on December 07, 2004, 03:33:11 PM It does that to me too. I had that problem with both firefox and IE. I find that if you type this (http://visitors.hero6.com/forums/index.php?act=idx), you can enter the forums, even with firefox.
Title: Firefox and the forum Post by: Jafar on December 07, 2004, 08:46:20 PM Maybe if you bookmark it like that... I'm going to see if I have this problem.
EDIT: I just tested it a few times, and it works for me. What URL do you type in when it tries to download? Title: Firefox and the forum Post by: Swift on December 07, 2004, 11:50:00 PM http://visitors.hero6.com/forums/index.php (http://visitors.hero6.com/forums/index.php)?
and hero6.com/visitors give me this download problem. [edit] Clicking on "Mark all topics as read" gives me this problem too. Title: Firefox and the forum Post by: Firinflablaze on December 08, 2004, 12:56:05 AM Weird, works fine for me on galeon.

Title: Firefox and the forum Post by: Jafar on December 08, 2004, 07:12:57 PM Weird... I never ran into this.

Maybe I'll try Konqueror later, and see if it works. :) Title: Firefox and the forum Post by: Brassfire on December 09, 2004, 09:46:24 PM It was a cache problem. I had it too, and clearing the cache in firefox fixed it.
The server was updated and was not responding properly to php for only a few minutes. If you're still getting that downloading problem then clear your cache. Title: Firefox and the forum Post by: Louisiana Night on December 10, 2004, 08:04:36 AM Thanks! :D
I think I freed up half my hardrive when I cleared my cache. :P |
