I hope this doesnt conflict with Hero6 plans, and that it wasnt posted before.

The Quest For More Glory boards have made a petition for QFG6 to be made. It worked for QFG5!

Though I didn't quite get why they didn't want to make QFG 5. I mean 4 ended with Erasmus taking you to Silmaria and all...

EDIT: while I understand why you censor curse words, I do not understand why the "h" word has to be censored too. Especially when it can easily be mistaken for the "f" word...

You'll have to ask Pwincess why the "h" word is censored.

As for the petition, that has been around for a long time, and we even had a topic on that in the old forums. Most of us have signed it already. Also, consider these two things.

1. If even after two years of running that petition hasn't made VU change their minds, what makes you think it'll make any difference now?

2. VU may wind up producing the QFG's equivalent of Leisure Suit Larry : Magna Cum Laude.

Besides...who'd make it? In case none of you remember, the Coles got fired. And Sierra is dead. Maybe a Petition to get Vivendi to give the Rights to QFG to the Coles?

Yea. QFG6 will never happen. Vivendi got waaay to corporationy. And there is no way they'll give up the rights to the games. It's just... insane. No amount of petitioning power can do that.

Now if you got all those petitioners to pool together like, $1000 American each, you might get something. But since that isn't going to happen, Vivendi most definitely isn't going to give up rights.

It's best not to dwell on it, and instead skirt the law the way H6 did. It's... just a lot less heartbreaking this way, and gives us all a lot less beating ourselves in the proverbial stomach over it all.

Let's face it. No company takes online petitions seriously. I can get a million signatures per day. It's called flipping through the yellow pages and typing up the names as they go. I mean, no matter how honest you are, no one will believe you. It's just a fact of life.

No... It's not just that... Names on paper mean nothing to an americanized corporation. They own something that can actually be WORTH something. They won't give it up without pulling some teeth.

You'd actually have to give them a sum of cash. And other 'goodies'.
No, it's best to not dwell on it, and instead, y'know, like I said, skirt the law. It's not impossible; I'm going to do it. H6 is doing it.

That is a very common typo. Combinations of letters, numbers and symbols are usually called strings and their valeu is presented with a pair of " ". Now when refering to just one letter, symbol, or number one may use the " " or ' ' by peferably the last one since single characters aren`t as space demanding as strings.  :cheerygrin:  XD

Upon the declaration of their arrival, the trio can never show up untill 15 minutes after, even if they actually would have arrived a minute later.

And this is the 3rd time in one night, I've become extremly confused.

Suppose the time is X minutes when their arrival shall be declared. They were originally going to arrive at X + 1. Instead, physics bends because of the past declaration and a quantum loop occurs, throwing the delcared parties into the future, so that they will arrive at X + 15 instead.

If they were going to arrive within that 15 minutes, then their arrival is suspended.

Also, it should be interesting to note, it works both ways. Upon declaration, when they would have normally arrived at a time time longer than 24 hours away, they will be propelled backwards through the loop and arrive before 24 hours has passed.

Although many, many people insult Dragonfire (myself included) we must conclude that although the general bandwagon is against it, it is actually not that bad of a game. It is leaps and bounds beyond Wages of War, the gameplay is easy 3D Panarama, and although the game is combat oriented, there is a very obviously deep story behind it all.

Compared with it's lesser, Quest for Glory 3, it is a magnificent game. Wages of War lacked game length, the necessity of skill, and many other things. However, the story was there, and was quite well done, as it was for all the other QFG's. The problem was the depth was not there, but in some spots it was too much. If there was a general depth to the game such as there was in Trial By Fire or Shadows of Darkness, I think the game would have been very well done.

Which is why I would love to see someone do a remake of the game. If nobody will, I will. If I end up leading something like that, prepare for a SCI version.

Well, I did manage to find a few free tickets to Hawaii....

The main protest people have towards Dragon Fire was that it was the direct successor to Shadows of Darkness. And the combat system was a sack of garbage. And the voice acting was dreadful. The premises were quite good, actually, and it wasn't nearly as bad as KQ8..*Shudders*.

Now that everyone is good and confused, I WAS referring to Ignus' name.

Did I get it wrong? I mean "Ignus" is "fire" I'm sure of that. And "Draconus" is a form of the noun "Dragon", is it not?
