As for me, I don't mind watching it with friends after the exams, so I voted 'yes'.

After the first two prequels, I don't think theres any hope for this one. I'm sticking with the originals. :whatever:  

I'm not really expecting anything great, but that's not going to stop me from going to see it.  The other two movies were okay, but nowhere near as good as the original trilogy.  Though I doubt it will happen, I still hope this one will make up for the shortcomings in the other two.

I'll definitely go see it if I have the money, but I'm not expecting a great story.

Lightsaber duels will be enough. Besides. Vader is back. I don't expect it to measure up to the originals, though. Lucas can never recreate how impressive a Star Destroyer was. And it's Anakin in a suit for episode 3, and his character was dreadful. Bah.

Yeah, I'll see it, because I'm a Star Wars freak. But it will be kind of sad: with the Original Espisodes, if it was your first time watching them, and you got to Episode V and heard Vader reveal to Luke who he really was...well, it was shocking and horrifying at once. But with the new episodes, if you're new to the series, and you see them BEFORE seeing the originals...well, you kind of know what to expect, so you don't get the same shock during Episode V you used to... :(

That, and The Original Episodes were ground breaking films for Sci-Fi. The new episodes are not.

Haven't seen Episode 1 or 2, so I guess that I'm not looking forward to Episode 3...

That's what I'm thinking. Who knows. Maybe the Return (Or the Begin) of Darth Vader will be good.

Are episodes 1 and 2 worth watching?

Not really. Not unless you watch them with the intent to make fun ofall the bad acting and plot holes. :P  

If you enjoy stuff blowing up and cool lasers and can not pay attention to the flaws Jafar mentioned, then yeah, it's worth it.  Just remember not to expect anything great when stacked up against the Original Trilogy.

I suppose watching 1 and 2 will only serve to reenforce why 4, 5 and 6 are good.

As stand alone movies, they'd be okay. But I think Lucas isn't putting a lot of mental effort or good acting into it because he's sure people will go see it simply because of Lightsabers and blasters.

Explosions are nice, but they can't save a movie.

No, he's counting on cool lightsaber fighting.

That was totally UNCOOL.

Yeah, I know. It took away Yoda's whole mysteriousness and made him look like a rodeo clown.

The battle earlier wasn't much better. You just saw faces with light reflecting onto them. :whatever:  

But when Anakin got sliced, that was funny.

That brought of SO many rumors of Dooku being Anakin's father.

God, I hope not. If Dooku says "Anakin....I..am your father" then I will fly off the handle and chunk a rock at the movie screen.

It's bad enough that Anakin was "born from the force". :rolleyes:

The force is an energy field, ya know! It just doesn't make sense, ya know!

Anakin being decapitated.

Though it would screw up the plot worse then anything that happened in the last 2...

Who knows, maybe Episode three will just be a big long sequence of Anakin being cremated.

Even Lucas isn't THAT crazy.

Then again, he made Palpatine tell Vader about his son in the DVDs...

Since I've been waiting for Episode3, ever since I heard they were working on Episode1... of course I'm looking foward to it. :P

I haven't really been looking forward to Episode 3. Got much bigger things to think about. Like, Jade Empire. And Hero6. And QFI. And KQ3VGA. And QFG2VGA. And the cheese spread on them walls. And paint drying.

Well, *I* thought it was great, if not the best of the series.

I liked it.

Well...at least Anakin really did become Darth Vader. It was pretty sick when he killed the younglings, though I wish it showed him cutting down more Jedi. The Saber duels were really good, too.

It was better than Episode 1 or 2.
