Does anyone have any easter egg ideas we can use for Hero7?

monty python references are a must, maybe some laff references

Not sure about that Monty show since I've never watch it, but Herocia references are definitely a must! :D  (And I'm not being bias) :P

I dunno, but also have a moose head in the Adventurer's/Hero's Guild. It's a must have.

Well you could give a reference to the creators of Hero 6 since they will all be long since dead when hero 7 is done. Heck most of them are going to long since dead when hero 6 is done. So why not have a graveyard with real shots of the members grave stones?

Ok, Corsair, your sig took FOREVER to load. It prevented me from accessing other sites for several minutes, and the same for everyone else on this network. Please replace it with a much smaller sig so that people who have less than a T1 dedicated line can READ THE FORUMS.

There may be some exaggeration in there, but that's only because I'm really frustrated about not being able to access other websites for minutes because of a SIG. Why do you have to have a sig that is 1442 KB in size? Yeesh!

I agree. But not TOO obvious. Like, at some point, you kill a goblin or something, and you look at the body, and it says like "There's a Red Eye symbol on it's shield." or "The helmet has a white S emblazoned on it.

I was thinking more along the lines of a goblin cave in the mountains, or a shot of dwarves in a fir tree

Or at some point, there's a huge fire on a mountain, and then in bright green letters beneath it, have it say "GANDALF IS HERE"

That would be amusing. Or a spell that turns all your daggers into flaming pinecones. It's like zapping thrown daggers.

Maybe have some references to KQ9 and SQ7, assuming they'd be willing to share.

It is, after all, a time-honored tradition among these games, dating back to KQ2. Would be a shame not to have the plugs in there. ;)

They have Lightning Protection from the wizard part. And they can teleport and dodge super because of the ninja part.

For references... why, there's always the dreaded three-headed monkey of Monkey Island fame. Rarely seen, never captured, the whereabouts of this ever-elusive beast are shrouded in mystery.

As for me, I think it hides in the thickest parts of the hero6 forest.  :)

Back on topic: Maybe have a scene where it comes up in XGA mode (QFG1 and 2), then have it say "Oops! Wrong format!", then when they try to go to the scene again, it's normal.

Anyway, I have an idea for a humorous moment.

everytime you leave the inn, the innkeeper makes you take a bowl of soup, which is completely inedible. you can throw the soup at a monster and cause it to begin gagging, allowing you to get away. at some point there is a quest that requires an empty bowl, and the only way to empty the bowl is to slip on a patch of ice, or some such thing.

Yeah, but why would you cart around a bowl of soup that was inedible? The character, I mean. It's kind of funny, though. A little. Maybe.

How about instead of getting rid of the soup in the bowl, you simply have it where someone is able to eat it and really likes it? Then they give you some reward.
You know, maybe an ogress or something of similiar lines (hint, hint).

As you crush the poor, defenseless pixie in your hand, you hear movement behind you. Before you can turn around, you find yourself shrinking and changing into a pixie! The last words you hear just before being stuffed in a bottle are "Pixie for sale! 120 gold!"

Hero7 definitly needs a MAD programmer in it. And you'll have to bane a demon offcourse. (As a tribute to old times)
