Title: 0 Health in QG1... and ALIVE Post by: ndcent168 on January 27, 2005, 03:06:58 AM Here's a little something cool for any of you who are really bored.
It is actually possible to get 0 Health in QG1 and live to tell the tale. On the same screen as Brauggi, the Frost Giant, try to run. You'll get a funny animation of the Hero falling on his butt and then a message saying, "Running on the ice is apparently not a very good idea." You'll also lose 1 Health. You can do this over and over again, and you will eventually reach 0, but never die. I was hoping for a cool death message, but this is a neat find too. You can then climb up to visit Erasmus repeatedly until you have 0 stamina as well, if you are so inclined. Title: 0 Health in QG1... and ALIVE Post by: Corsair5 on January 27, 2005, 03:29:23 AM Huh. Neat.
Title: 0 Health in QG1... and ALIVE Post by: Lord_Bierhoff on January 27, 2005, 03:44:07 AM what happens if you enter a combat like that?
Title: 0 Health in QG1... and ALIVE Post by: Corsair5 on January 27, 2005, 03:52:09 AM You probably die instantly.
Title: 0 Health in QG1... and ALIVE Post by: Striker on January 27, 2005, 03:54:10 AM "You did something we didn't think of!"
...probably the first time that message actually applied to the situation. Title: 0 Health in QG1... and ALIVE Post by: ndcent168 on January 27, 2005, 05:16:59 AM You do die instantly entering combat.
I still don't understand why you can't use the shield (as a fighter) on the ambush. What other things "didn't they think of?" Title: 0 Health in QG1... and ALIVE Post by: Swift on January 27, 2005, 10:02:44 AM This reminds me of an error I encountered in QG5.
Now, my computer was really old and unable to handle that game properly, and so my Hero would die while running down staircases or across bridges. He'd somehow 'fly' up in the air while running and crash down. Really frustrating. Anyway, one day, I made the mistake of running to the bank. Again, he fell and had 0 health. The strange part is that he fell outside the bank and landed inside. I don't know how he managed to "open" the door and get in while falling. And the game didn't realise that my Hero was dead. I didn't get any death message, none whatsoever. Sam didn't notice my poor hero lying dead on the floor, and I couldn't do anything about it. So I had to hit the restore button. Why was there no death message? Title: 0 Health in QG1... and ALIVE Post by: Jafar on January 27, 2005, 10:04:50 AM Was that glitch in the original, or the remake?
Title: 0 Health in QG1... and ALIVE Post by: Corsair5 on January 27, 2005, 07:43:33 PM I bet that was interesting for poor ol' Banker Sam. He's just minding his own buisness and then a body comes flying through the door. Dead as a doornail.
