This website and the forums has ALOT of history, which you could relive at archive.org if you are wondering what you missed. Smiley

Lol I'm suprised you've never heard of the big H6, yet you probably know about AGDI, IA, POS and that Yahtzee fellow. rofl

POS=Phoenix Online Studio who is making KQ9 http://www.tsl-game.com
Damn you've been involved in AGS and have never heard of Yahtzee? Head over to http://www.fullyramblomatic.com/ and check out his awesome games.

Have you heard about the two fanmade AGI Spacequest games, TLC and SQ:0?

Oohhhh KQ9.  Meh...

lol yes, but I've been on the down low for a while now.  I have heard of some of his games actually, can't say I've played them. Sad  I'm fairly picky...if the story doesn't interest me I usually don't even try them out.  Not to say the games are bad, obviously, just hasn't caught my eye yet I guess.

Yup I've heard about the SQ fangames.

Moving the thread back. It seems there was some kind of bad sector or something, which was why they moved it to a admin-forum. Deleted the problematic post, so it should be fine now.

(PS: If it shows strangely, please refrain from replying to this topic!)

new forum pal here but would really love to see that hero6 when it hits the completion button! An old fan of KQ and Hero's Quest.  Was sad to see it stop when the original designers left off with it.  I sure hope someone is listening, cause I for one really appreciate what the fan programmers are trying to do.  I say get most of the action coding done and let a story writer or script writer(someone from the fan arena or otherwise) develop the theme and story, if it would speed the process up.  But you prolly have already discussed these ideas and are prolly doing something like that already.

Well its so hard to wait, heehee. Grin

Good luck getting a response from this place. It's dead in here.
I guess someone is suppose to be working on getting new people involved and all that but if they are it seems this would be the first place to start?
If anyone is around to read this how about an update or atleast something to let everyone know the project isn't dead. Alls we keep hearing is trust us their is work being done. Seems I'm the only one around that keeps this place going anymore. laugh

I can't speak for Hero6, but we're not all dead.

I'm still working on my projects, but I wound up in the hospital for a bit there and then moved.  Now I'm concentrating on my comic and progressive rock records again, so the adventure game is kind of moving at a snail's pace.  Too bad about Hero6 kind of sitting still, I'm a fan of the game style at least.

The project is not dead. We had some great changes in all game departments (art, programming, plot) and are working hard to build a demo as soon as possible. I think a newsletter should be available until next month.

Just to be clear. Thats an internal demo. Not a public demo. Although a public demo might be necessary at some point.

Anything playable really makes the day, be it for the developers or the players themselves, it's always such a relief when you get your stuff ingame.
