I applied to join Hero 6 and help out with the writing but I didn't receive a reply. This isn't the first time I've applied without received a response either. Is there anyone responsible for checking out and responding to new writing team applications?

Only Plot Admins have access to applications concerning their department. Erasmus, our plot admin, had recently contacted some applicants, so if you didn't hear from him, it could either be that the email didn't get through or something else altogether. I've PMed him of your situation, so please give him some time to respond.

I moved to China for a few years and I literally had no time to work on it. Now I'm back home in the UK and studying for an English degree.  I thought that helping out with the writing duties here might be fun and also useful practice for me.

Thanks, but leaving home and moving to China was easy. The difficult thing was returning to England and realising that China was my home.

Three months ago I climbed Tai Shan - the tallest and greatest of China's holy mountains - and, as I stood in the courtyard of the buddhist temple upon Tai Shan's peak, watched the sun rise above the clouds. I explored the ancient temple of Confucius. I found and lost love. Now my life is boring and predictable.

I think that I left behind a part of me when I came back "home".

Ianfe sent you an email about your application some days ago. Have you sent him any samples of your work for him to review?

Yeah, that's the upside about China. The downside is that you've got a bunch of Commies in power.

Now now, Jigen...you mustn't resort to such violent sollutions...

Not until you've made a poll and got the majority of votes in favor of your cause.

Careful, now, Jigen. I still have my knife, and just because I haven't administered a stabbing in a while doesn't mean I won't ever do it again. Muhahahahahahaha!

I enjoy your wacky banter, guys, but back to the topic at hand...

Swift (or should I address this to Ianfe?),  I never received the email about my application. If someone could send it again then I'll happily send you a writing sample.
