16  The Hero6 Project / Official Hero6 News / Re: New PR Lead on: April 22, 2007, 12:32:54 PM
recent developments have me confident

What recent developments might that be?

Now you see, THAT's where my predicament lies. I -know- what's going on, but I'm not qualified to answer to that. I'm a measly dialogue writer/editer that takes care of the visitors forums as well.

Try to keep your tone somewhere between mild and moderate, Corsair. Please. Hero6 is going through a lot of changes for the time being and that's the reason for the Creative Director not being active on the visitors forum. As for the absence of the newly appointed PR team...well, I won't try to justify it because it's not my area. However, recent developments have me confident that I'll be able to say something other than "Work is getting done. Seriously. Trust me." soon and offer proof as well.

For the time being, however,...work is getting done. Seriously.

Well, I'm talking about the actual engine. But I'm not really qualified to talk about it. Tongue

I remember Daemious talking about stuff he was meaning to implement.

Hero6 is still using MAD and it is still being updated as far as I know.

Well, keeping this place alive should be a priority, if you ask me...

Locked on account on a duplicate thread existing in Hero6 Discussion.

The Visitors forums apparently died away along with Swift's resignation, sadly, but we (and by that, I mean me)  still come around and check it out...

April first is apparently this character's birthday. Fitting coincidence or elaborate prank? Which is it?

At any rate, Happy Birthday, dude.  cake

He was before my time, but I heard much about the fabled Chat Admin and so I wish him a happy birthday, wherever he is.  cake

Wow, I can't believe I missed this. I'm so sorry. I seem to be one of the few team members that still comes here. The rest are too busy with their respective tasks.

Servant (our Creative Director) posted this not long ago:

There are two key art openings currently. You should look and see if you would fit any of the positions. Smiley

Oh, do you mean Lori and Corey Cole? I recall reading about their support towards the project when I got accepted, but I don't know if contact is maintained with them these days.
